It doesn't appear that either the computer industry or the television, cable industry have become dominant in who is going to have control of the television channels.

Having TV on my computer really appeals to me.  I could get rid of the "idiot" box sitting in a prime spot of my front room.  I can get rid of the billing I get monthly from the cable company.  I get a whack more channels to chose from.  My horizons are broadened by gaining access to channels my cable company has never heard from. 

So I have started out with this software program to watch a lot of the sports not televised locally.
